It has been widely reported that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in Q4 of 2021 and reports from Front Page Tech now tell us that the company are ramping up production for these devices.
According to Front Page Tech, the announcement will likely take place on August 3rd and the deices will go on sale on August 27th. They also reported that Samsung have ordered 50000-70000 units per day for each device.
Samsung are also looking to produce a combined 7 million units for these devices. Starting production now is a little earlier than normal but with these larger order numbers we can see why. Samsung probably want all these units ready to ship by August 27th without a waiting period or delay.
The report also says that Samsung are looking to produce a combined 7 million units for these devices. 7 million is a huge number compared to the 1-2 million units of the previous models.
It is safe to say that Samsung are feeling good about foldables in 2021 and are betting on more people investing in foldable devices this year.
