The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Is Coming To Malaysia

The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is making its way to Malaysia and it seems to be direct competition to the Redmi Note 10 5G as Samsung are launching this device at under RM 1000.

The device features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chip. This is the same chip that can be found in the Redmi Note 10 5G and the Poco M3 Pro 5G. The Malaysian variant also comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.

In terms of the camera, the A22 5G has a triple camera setup which features a main 48MP lens, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is a 8MP shooter that is housed in the notch at the top of the screen.

The phone also comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging via USB-C. The device runs Android 11 with OneUI on top of it. It also has a headphone jack and a side mounted fingerprint scanner.

According to Mobile2Go, the Galaxy A22 5G will launch at RM 999 with pre-orders now available as stock is expected to arrive on June 26th. The device will be sold in 3 colours, Grey, Mint and Violet. Alongside this, Samsung is also launching the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite which is priced at RM699.
