Apple has officially launched the Apple Watch Series 11, with a strong emphasis on health monitoring and user durability. The new smartwatch, which the company says is its thinnest and most comfortable design to date, will be available to customers in Malaysia beginning 19 September.

Apple Watch Series 11 Sleep Score

The Series 11 introduces several key features, including a new sleep score to help users analyse the quality of their rest. According to Stan Ng, Apple’s vice president of Apple Watch and Health Product Marketing, the device is an “indispensable companion” for health, fitness, and safety. The new sleep score feature analyses data points such as sleep duration and consistency, providing an overall classification and score based on guidance from major sleep organisations.

The latest model is also designed to be more durable and convenient for all-day use. Apple has extended the battery life to up to 24 hours on a single charge and has included fast-charging capabilities, allowing for eight hours of use from just a 15-minute charge. The aluminium versions of the watch feature an Ion-X glass display that is rated to be twice as scratch-resistant as the previous generation, thanks to a new ceramic coating. The titanium models will continue to use a sapphire crystal display.

In addition to hardware updates, the Apple Watch Series 11 will run on watchOS 26, which adds new software features. These include “Workout Buddy,” an Apple Intelligence-powered coach that offers personalised, spoken motivation during workouts. The update also introduces a new one-handed wrist flick gesture for dismissing notifications and alarms, as well as Live Translation for messages and new features for managing phone calls.

The Apple Watch Series 11 will be available in 42mm and 46mm sizes. Case finishes for the aluminium models include a new space grey, jet black, rose gold, and silver, while the polished titanium versions come in natural, gold, and slate.

In line with the company’s environmental goals, Apple noted that the Series 11 contains 40% recycled content. The battery includes 100% recycled cobalt, and the case is made from 100% recycled aluminium or titanium, with the titanium case manufactured using a 3D printing process that uses half the raw material of prior models.

The Apple Watch Series 11 will be available in Malaysia with a starting price of RM1,799.
