iOS 26 Beta Reveals Key Details for Upcoming Apple Watch Ultra 3
Apple’s work on a new Apple Watch Ultra 3 appears to have been confirmed by imagery found within the latest iOS 26 beta, which points to a potential display size increase for the device expected to launch this fall.

According to Aaron Perris, a contributor for MacRumors, an image discovered in the beta has a display resolution of 422×514, which does not match any existing Apple Watch models. This is a notable increase from the current Apple Watch Ultra 2’s resolution of 410×502, and it suggests a slightly larger display for the forthcoming model.
While there have been no official rumours regarding a larger casing, experts speculate that Apple could be planning to reduce the bezel size, allowing for a bigger screen without increasing the overall size of the watch itself.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is anticipated to be unveiled in just over a month, alongside the new iPhone 17 lineup and the Apple Watch Series 11 models. Rumours suggest the device will also include several significant new features, such as satellite connectivity for off-grid communication, a brighter display with a faster refresh rate, a new chip, and health-focused additions like blood pressure monitoring.
