Asus Malaysia have announced two new laptops which both pack OLED displays, the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and the ZenBook 13 OLED.
ZenBook 13 OLED
The ZenBook 13 OLED is the latest laptop in the Asus ZenBook line and this time it packs an OLED display and is made to be light and portable as it weighs just about 1.14kg.
The ZenBook 13 OLED has a 13.3-inch FHD OLED display with a peak brightness of 400 nits and it also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The ZenBook 13 OLED has up to an Intel Core i7- 1165G7 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 512GB storage and the Intel Iris Xe Graphics packed under the hood. The device also also has Bluetooth 5.0 support and WiFi 6 capabilities as well as a good amount of IO which include 2 Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, 1 USB 3.2 port, 1 HDMI port and one micro-SD card slot. It is pretty amazing how much Asus could fit into a machine this thin and light. It also packs support for Windows Hello.
The device will start at RM4299 for the Core i5 variant and RM4999 for the Core i7 version and will also be available in two colours; Lilac Mist and Pine Grey starting June 7th.
ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED
The ZenBookPro Duo 15 OLED is one of the company’s latest top of the line laptop for the year and it’s main feature is the dual display setup. Asus has made different versions of their dual display laptops and this is their latest one for 2021.
The main screen features a 15.6-inch OLED display with a 4K resolution and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It also has support for 4096-pressure level stylus. The second display below it is a rather large 14.09-inch UHD display which Asus calls the ScreenPad Plus. The device also packs an Intel Core i9-10980HK, and in terms of graphics it comes with an NVIDIA RTX 3070. It also has 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage packed inside. In terms of IO, the device comes with 2x Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports, 1x USB 3.1 port, 1x HDMI 2.1 and 1x 3.5mm audio jack. It also has a large 92Wh battery, Windows Hello support, Cortana and Alexa voice recognition, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support. Asus is clearly aiming this laptop at creatives who need a powerful device for their daily tasks.
The device will be available in two version, a Core i7 starting at RM12999 version and a Core i9 version at RM15999 starting June 7th.
