ASUS Malaysia has announced its new 2025 Vivobook 14 and 16 series laptops, touting AI-powered performance and enhanced productivity features. These new models, available with Snapdragon, AMD Ryzen AI, and Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, are designed to bring cutting-edge AI capabilities to everyday users.
AI-Powered Performance
The Vivobook 14 and 16, which are Copilot+ PCs when equipped with Snapdragon or AMD Ryzen AI processors, feature NPUs capable of up to 50 TOPS, significantly accelerating AI-driven tasks. This processing power allows the laptops to handle complex AI workloads with ease. The Intel-powered Vivobook 16 is also AI-ready for everyday tasks. A dedicated Copilot key provides instant access to AI features, whether cloud-based or locally processed.
Enhanced Productivity
ASUS emphasises productivity with up to 29 hours of battery life, fast charging (60% in 49 minutes), and a full array of I/O ports, including USB-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI, and an audio combo jack. The ErgoSense keyboard and a larger touchpad with Smart Gestures aim to provide a comfortable and efficient user experience. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 ensure seamless wireless connectivity.
Robust Security
Security is also a key focus. An AI camera with Windows Hello enables fast, hands-free login, supplemented by a physical privacy shutter. The inclusion of the Microsoft Pluton security processor provides robust protection for sensitive data.
User-Friendly Design
The Vivobook 14 and 16 are lightweight and thin, starting at 1.46kg and 1.79cm respectively. They feature a 180° hinge and expansive 16:10 FHD+ IPS displays. Colour options include Cool Silver, Quiet Blue, and Platinum Gold (for the 14-inch model). Military-grade MIL-STD 810H durability ensures resilience. ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Technology and 3DNR enhance video call clarity, while a physical webcam privacy shield adds an extra layer of security. Stereo audio with ASUS Audio Booster and SonicMaster provides quality sound.
Availability and Pricing
The ASUS Vivobook 14/16 series will be available in Malaysia through authorised ASUS resellers. Pricing starts at RM2,999 for the AMD-powered models, RM3,399 for the Intel-powered Vivobook 16, and RM3,499 for the Snapdragon-powered Vivobook 14/16.
