ASUS has a reputation for pushing boundaries with innovative tech, but their latest teaser might take the cake. The ROG Mjolnir, unveiled recently, looks like something straight out of a fantasy novel. However, ASUS assures us this is no April Fool’s joke – the Mjolnir is a real product coming soon, with more details promised at Computex 2024.

The name itself hints at the Mjolnir’s inspiration: Thor’s legendary hammer from Norse mythology. ASUS already offers power supply units named after Thor, so the connection isn’t entirely surprising. The teaser image showcases a powerful-looking portable power station designed to resemble Mjolnir.
Images show it sporting four standard power outlets, alongside USB-A, USB-C, and possibly an RJ45 LAN port. A display screen provides information like remaining charge and power output.
The most intriguing aspect, however, is the Mjolnir’s design. Its shape clearly evokes the mythical hammer, complete with a hefty handle section. Whether this handle functions as a carrying mechanism or offers additional features like a detachable light source remains a mystery.
We’ll have to wait until Computex in June to learn more about the ROG Mjolnir’s capabilities and functionalities. One thing’s for sure: ASUS is making a bold statement with this powerful and unique product.
