Originally announced in July, Asus’ follow up to its successful ROG phone couldn’t come sooner and fortunately, Malaysian fans only need to wait until October to get their hands on the ROG Phone II.
Aesthetically not much has changed for the ROG Phone II, the exterior looks so similar to the original that you could easily mistake the two.
Despite this, the second generation ROG Phone has a slightly bigger screen, rocking a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It also boasts Asus’ fabled 120Hz refresh rate for buttery-smooth gaming while you are on the go.
Of course, the ROG Phone II has all the trappings of a flagship device with the equally powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor inside along with 12GB of RAM and the choice of either 512GB or 1TB of internal storage.
Don’t worry about running out of juice halfway because it has a ridiculous 6,000mAh battery inside that ensures you will be gaming for hours on end.
The ROG Phone II is no slouch when it comes to cameras with a 48-Megapixel and 13-Megapixel dual cameras on the back and a powerful 24-Megapixel camera in front.
As we mentioned earlier in the article, the ROG Phone II will be landing in Malaysia sometime in October so keep your eyes opened for the official release date.
