HONOR has unveiled its latest tablet in Malaysia alongside the HONOR Magic6 Pro. The HONOR Pad 9 boasts a large display, immersive audio, and a long-lasting battery, all at a competitive price point.

Large Display and Immersive Audio
The HONOR Pad 9 features a massive 12.1-inch FullView display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a sharp 2560 x 1600 resolution. The display also boasts a wide 1.07 billion colour gamut, making visuals pop. Complementing the display is an 8-speaker setup that delivers an immersive audio experience. The tablet even features background noise cancellation, making it perfect for online classes or conferences.
Decent Performance and Storage
Under the hood, HONOR’s new tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. While not a powerhouse, it should be adequate for most everyday tasks. The tablet comes with a generous 16GB of RAM (with 8GB of virtual RAM expansion) and a spacious 256GB of storage, allowing users to multitask efficiently and store a significant amount of apps and data.
Capable Cameras and Long Battery Life
The tablet sports a 13MP rear camera for capturing basic photos and a decent 8MP front camera for video calls. Keeping the tablet running is a large 8,300mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging via the USB-C port.
Price and Availability
Currently, only the Wi-Fi version of the HONOR Pad 9 has been launched in Malaysia, priced at RM1,499. The tablet also comes with a complimentary smart Bluetooth keyboard and a Choice Pencil (terms and conditions apply). You can purchase the tablet through HONOR’s website, Lazada, and Shopee.
