HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series Officially Launched in Malaysia
In addition to the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2, HUAWEI Malaysia has also confirmed the local availability of its new wearable line, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series. The lineup includes the standard WATCH GT 6 and the WATCH GT 6 Pro, introducing updated hardware for battery endurance and advanced health and fitness tracking to the Malaysian market.
Battery Endurance and Display Specifications
The GT 6 Series features extended battery life across both models. The WATCH GT 6 Pro and the 46mm standard GT 6 are rated for up to 21 days of use under light conditions, positioning them in the high-end endurance category for smartwatches. The smaller 41mm model offers up to 14 days of typical usage.
The watch displays are AMOLED, with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, which is designed to maintain visibility when viewed outdoors under bright daylight.
Focus on Advanced Sports and Health Monitoring
The GT 6 Series is equipped with specialised tracking capabilities for athletes. It introduces Wrist-based Cycling Virtual Power tracking, allowing cyclists to measure estimated riding power without requiring a dedicated external power meter. The watches also use an upgraded Sunflower Positioning System, which HUAWEI reports delivers a 20% improvement in GPS accuracy for reliable route and distance tracking.
Health monitoring utilises the TruSense system, providing continuous data for metrics like emotional well-being and heart rate variability (HRV) analysis. The Pro model includes the dedicated ECG function for advanced cardiovascular readings.
For user safety, the series incorporates a high-range IMU sensor that enables automatic fall detection, capable of prompting the user and initiating emergency calls via a connected smartphone following a severe impact.

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 is priced beginning at RM999, while the HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro is available starting at RM1,299.
