Realme might be the next smartphone manufacturer to partner with a photography brand in order to level up their camera experience. A rumour suggests that Realme are working on a newer “GT Master Edition” and the device will arrive with a Kodak logo at the back.
Realme VP Xu Qi Chase posted a sample image that fuelled speculation of the new device. The sample black and white image comes with a watermark that has been pixelated. However it is hard to tell if this is the device that is in partnership with Kodak.
Multiple Weibo tipsters have hinted that Realme will be working with a well-known camera manufacturer for an upcoming GT flagship smartphone. One tipster had posted that Realme will be working on a co-branded phone with Kodak but that post has since been deleted.

The GT Master Edition was spotted on China’s TENAA database and it looks pretty simple, something like a rehashed OnePlus 9 Pro.
There are currently no confirmed details about the partnership. Kodak did attempt making a smartphone 6 years ago, the Kodak IM5 which was an entry level device which had a 13MP main sensor. Only time will tell if this partnership will really happen or not.
