Lenovo Launches ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 Desktops and ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 Monitors

Work Smarter: Lenovo Unveils AI-Powered ThinkCentre and ThinkVision Lineup

Lenovo has launched its next generation of business devices, designed to meet the growing demand for AI-powered technology in the workplace. The new lineup features a comprehensive selection of AI-ready ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 desktops and a family of ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 monitors.

The announcement comes as a recent Lenovo and IDC survey revealed that nearly half of all businesses believe AI-powered devices enhance employee productivity, with 90 percent already piloting or planning for such rollouts. According to Johnson Jia, senior vice president of Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group, this new generation of products is designed to lead the way in this evolving landscape.

The ThinkCentre M Series Gen 6 desktops are engineered to deliver uncompromised performance for the most demanding business tasks, including AI model training, 3D design, and data analysis. The family comes in multiple form factors to fit various business environments:

  • Tower and Small Form Factor (SFF): These powerful models, like the ThinkCentre M90t Gen 6, are equipped with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 Processors (Series 2) and support DDR5 memory, making them scalable and future-proof.
  • Tiny Desktops: With a compact 1L design, these desktops are ideal for space-constrained settings like healthcare, retail, and financial services. Models such as the ThinkCentre M90q Gen 6 can be customised with discrete NPUs for protected, on-device AI performance.
  • All-in-One (AIO) Desktops: The AIO models offer a clutter-free solution with immersive displays. The ThinkCentre M90a Gen 6 features a 23.8” anti-glare FHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and certifications for EyeSafe and IP55 water and dust resistance, making it suitable for industries requiring 3D visualisation.

Beyond their powerful hardware, the new ThinkCentre desktops are supported by Lenovo’s proprietary AI solutions, including the Lenovo AI Now personal assistant and the Lenovo AI Turbo Engine for optimised performance. These devices are also protected by Lenovo ThinkShield, a comprehensive security suite that includes a dTPM 2.0 chip and BIOS-based protection.

To complement the new desktops, the ThinkVision T Series Gen 40 monitors offer superior visual performance and versatile connectivity. The monitors feature WQHD and UHD IPS displays with wide 99% sRGB colour gamuts and a variable refresh rate of 48-120Hz for energy efficiency and smooth visuals. Select models provide a USB-C one-cable solution and up to 100W power delivery, simplifying modern workspaces.

Lenovo also highlighted its commitment to sustainability with the new monitors, which are made from 95% post-consumer recycled plastic and feature plastic-free packaging. For IT managers, the Lenovo Display Fleet Manager (LDFM) offers centralised asset management and batch firmware updates to minimise downtime.

The new Lenovo business lineup is now available in Malaysia, with pricing starting at RM3,739 for the ThinkCentre M90t Gen 6 desktop and RM729 for the ThinkVision T24-40 monitor.
