Microsoft and Samsung Launch Copilot on Smart TVs
Microsoft has officially rolled out Copilot on select Samsung Smart TVs and monitors, transforming your screen into an interactive, voice-powered AI companion. This integration aims to enhance the living room experience by making it easier to find entertainment, get everyday help, and discover content together.

Copilot introduces a conversational interface to the TV, allowing users to use natural voice commands to find shows, ask questions, or make plans. It is designed as a shared tool for families and friends, perfect for settling group debates on what to watch or getting spoiler-free recaps of a series. The AI adapts in real-time to provide ultra-specific recommendations and post-watch deep dives.
Visually, Copilot appears as a friendly animated presence that lip-syncs and reacts as it speaks. Answers are presented through “glanceable visual cards,” which can display movie suggestions, weather updates, or image results, creating an immersive and tailored experience for the big screen.
How to Access Copilot
The feature will be automatically available on supported Samsung models. Users can access Copilot by navigating to the Apps Tab on Samsung Tizen OS or Samsung Daily+. To activate it, simply press the microphone button on the remote and begin speaking. While the experience is free to use, users have the option to sign in with a Microsoft account to unlock personalised features, memory, and preferences.
Availability
Copilot is now available on Samsung’s 2025 lineup of Smart TVs and Smart Monitors. This includes models like Micro RGB, Neo QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, and QLED models such as the Q7F, as well as the M7, M8, and M9 monitors. The company plans to expand the service to more models and regions over time.
