2021 looks to be a big year for Samsung with multiple different projects in the works. Many of these new upcoming devices have been spotted at the FCC and it looks like another one has arrived as well.
The FCC site just published a certification page for a device with the model number SM-G99OU. This model number has long been rumoured to be the Galaxy S21 FE, the follow up to the popular S20 FE. The Galaxy S21 has the model number SM-G991U so this seems even more likely.
The documents also show that the phone supports mmWave 5G which is good news for those who thought that the S21 FE would be Sub6 only. The listing also shows that the device will have a Snapdragon 888 chip, WiFi 6 support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and Wireless Power Transfer. It might also feature 45W fast charging.
It does not look like the S21 FE will support MST which is reportedly going to be supported on the Z Fold 3.
The launch of the S21 FE could be imminent since it has already passed through FCC. Rumours suggest that we could see the device launch sometime in July or early August.
