The report, which attributes its findings to supply chain sources, also offers a glimpse into the highly anticipated 2026 Apple Watch lineup, suggesting it could bring one of the most significant updates in recent years.
Beyond the success of its current models, the tech giant is reportedly preparing a substantial upgrade for the upcoming Apple Watch Series 11 and Apple Watch Ultra 3. According to supply chain insiders, the 2026 lineup will focus on three key areas of improvement:
- Expanded Sensor Technology: The number of sensor components is expected to double. This change aims to reduce the device’s reliance on algorithmic data interpretation, potentially leading to improved performance and extended battery life.
- Exterior Redesign: The report claims there will be “alterations to the exterior design,” a change that has been the subject of frequent speculation. While the overall look is expected to be refreshed, the circular sensor array on the underside of the watch is likely to remain unchanged.
