Nothing Phone (3) Leaks Suggest Significant Price Jump, Upcoming Headphones Also Priced

Latest Leaks Reveals Nothing Phone (3) and Upcoming Headphones Prices

A new leak has surfaced online suggesting a significant price hike for Nothing’s upcoming Phone (3), positioning it as a true flagship device. Reliable leaker @MysteryLupin on Twitter/X claims that the highly anticipated smartphone will start at USD 799 (approximately RM3,395) in the US market for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, while the upgraded version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will cost USD 899 (approximately RM3,820).

These potential price points represent a considerable jump compared to Nothing’s previous offerings. The Nothing Phone (2) launched in Malaysia at a starting price of RM2,999 back in 2023. This increase aligns with comments made last month by Nothing co-founder Carl Pei, who hinted at a more premium positioning for the Phone (3).

Nothing Phone (3) Flagship Specs Expected

The company has officially confirmed that the Phone (3) will launch in July and has teased that it is building a “true” flagship this time around. This suggests that the device will likely feature a more powerful, current-generation Snapdragon chipset and a more comprehensive camera system compared to its predecessors. If the Phone (3) indeed utilises the Snapdragon 8 Elite, as some speculate, its leaked starting price could make it the most affordable device on the market with that high-end processor, potentially undercutting even the rumoured price of the OnePlus 13.

Nothing also revealed that the Phone (3) will not feature its signature Glyph Interface. Instead, the company previously teased on its X account that the device may come with a dot-matrix back.

Nothing Enters Over-Ear Headphone Market

In addition to the smartphone, the same leaker has revealed information about Nothing’s upcoming over-ear headphones, reportedly named “Nothing Headphone (1).” These headphones are expected to launch in late September with a price tag of USD 299 (approximately RM1,270). This pricing places them in a competitive space, significantly more affordable than premium offerings from other brands, such as the new Sony WH-1000XM6, and Apple’s AirPods Max.

Promising Price for New Headphones

While details regarding the design and specific features of the Nothing Headphone (1) remain scarce, the company’s established reputation in the audio market with its Ear (1), Ear (2), and Ear (stick) earbuds suggests that these headphones could offer a compelling combination of performance and value.
