POCO M7 5G Set to Debut in India Under INR 10,000, Featuring Snapdragon 4 Gen 2
POCO is gearing up to expand its M-series lineup with the highly anticipated launch of the POCO M7 5G on March 3rd at noon local time in India. This announcement comes just a few months after the release of the POCO M7 Pro 5G in December.
Targeting budget-conscious consumers, POCO has confirmed that the base model will be priced under INR 10,000. This translates to approximately RM 575 (based on current exchange rates), making it a competitive contender in the entry-level 5G smartphone market.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM. While this configuration has been officially revealed, there’s speculation that POCO might offer additional RAM options to cater to diverse user needs.
Retail giant Flipkart, the official online partner for the launch, has provided further insights into the phone’s specifications. The device will sport a 50MP primary camera on the rear, promising decent photography capabilities. A USB-C port at the bottom ensures modern connectivity.
For display, the device will feature a sizable 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. The display also boasts a brightness of 600 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright environments. The display features a notch, a design choice that is common in budget phones.
However, key details like the battery capacity and charging speed remain undisclosed, leaving consumers eager for the official launch event.
