POCO M7 Now Available in Malaysia
A few months after releasing the POCO M7 Pro 5G, POCO has now launched its latest smartphone, the POCO M7, in Malaysia. The new device is positioned as an affordable option that combines entertainment features with upgraded performance and a long-lasting battery.
Key Features and Specifications
A standout feature of the POCO M7 is its battery. The phone is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery that uses a new silicon-carbon technology, which POCO claims can provide up to two days of usage on a single charge. The device supports 33W fast charging and also offers 18W reverse charging to power other compatible devices.
For multimedia consumption, the POCO M7 sports a large 6.9-inch FHD+ display, the largest screen to date in POCO’s M series. The display features a dynamic refresh rate that can go up to 144Hz and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light, flicker-free, and circadian-friendly viewing. Audio is enhanced with Hi-Res Audio certification and a 200% volume boost.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 685 processor and runs on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 2. It also includes modern software features such as Google Gemini AI assistant and Circle to Search with Google. To handle multitasking, the phone can be configured with up to 16GB of expandable RAM and up to 2TB of expandable storage.
In terms of design, the POCO M7 is available in three colours: Silver, Blue, and Black. Each colour features a unique aesthetic, with the Silver model incorporating blue and red accents. All versions come with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The camera system includes a 50MP dual-camera setup on the rear and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The POCO M7 is now available for purchase in Malaysia through mi.com and the official POCO stores on Shopee and Lazada.
The two available variants are priced as follows:
- The 6GB+128GB model has a normal price of RM499, with an open sales promo price of RM469.
- The 8GB+256GB model is normally priced at RM599, with an open sales promo price of RM559.
