Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 6 Gen 4: The Latest Powerful Mid-Range Mobile Platform

Qualcomm has officially announced the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 Mobile Platform, bringing significant improvements to its mid-tier processor lineup. Built on TSMC’s advanced 4nm N4P process, this new chipset is designed to deliver enhanced performance and efficiency for a wide range of smartphones.

Enhanced CPU and GPU Performance

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 features a tri-cluster CPU architecture, which consists of:

  • One Kryo Prime core (Cortex-A720) clocked at 2.3GHz,
  • Three Kryo Gold cores (Cortex-A720) running at 2.2GHz,
  • Four Kryo Silver cores (Cortex-A520) operating at 1.8GHz.

In terms of graphics processing, the chipset is equipped with the Adreno 810 GPU, which operates at 895MHz and delivers an impressive 458.2 GFLOPS in FP32 computations. This combination ensures smoother gaming experiences and better performance for visually demanding applications.
