ZTE Malaysia has officially launched its highly anticipated gaming smartphone, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro, in the Malaysian market. Announced last month, this device is making waves as the world’s first smartphone to feature the groundbreaking Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset, promising unparalleled gaming performance for Android users.
Unprecedented Performance with New Snapdragon Chipset
The new Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version is a significant upgrade, boasting a CPU clock speed of up to 4.47GHz (surpassing the original Snapdragon 8 Elite’s 4.32GHz), a GPU speed of up to 1,200MHz (up from 1,100MHz), and a remarkable 40% faster NPU AI performance. This advanced chipset is complemented by the dedicated RedCore R3 Pro Gaming Chip, further enhancing the phone’s gaming capabilities.
To support this raw power, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro comes equipped with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro internal storage, ensuring lightning-fast memory performance and ample space for games and media.

Addressing the critical need for heat management in high-performance gaming, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro features a sophisticated 10-layer ICE-X Cooling technology. This includes Liquid Metal 2.0 with a thermal conductivity of 200 W/m·K, comparable to advanced gaming PCs. The liquid metal area has been expanded by 30% to 36mm², designed to melt at temperatures around 50°C for optimal heat transfer. Further bolstering the cooling system are a 12,000 mm² vapour chamber and a 23,000 RPM fan that operates with minimal noise, as low as 4dB.
Immersive Display and Long-Lasting Battery
The visual experience is equally impressive, with a 6.85-inch AMOLED display offering a sharp 1.5K resolution, a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and a brilliant 2,000 nits peak brightness, ensuring vibrant and immersive visuals for both gaming and multimedia consumption.
Powering the device is a substantial 7,050 mAh battery, supported by 80W fast charging with the charger conveniently included in the box. Design-wise, the phone retains its gaming aesthetic with dedicated features such as shoulder trigger buttons, dynamic RGB Lights, and a “Magic Key” button for quick access to the GameSpace application.
