Pre-Order Alert: ROG Xbox Ally Series in Malaysia Includes Exclusive RM999 Bundle
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia today announced the immediate availability for pre-order of its latest gaming handhelds, the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X. Developed in partnership with Xbox, the highly anticipated devices are set to revolutionise the portable PC gaming market with significant gen-on-gen performance gains and enhanced battery life.
Pre-orders for both models will commence exclusively on the ASUS e-Store starting tonight at 8.15 PM, 3 October. The pre-order period will be extended to include authorised ASUS resellers from October 6 through 15, with both handhelds scheduled for general availability on shelves starting October 17, 2025.
Next-Level Performance and Efficiency
The standard ROG Xbox Ally is equipped with the AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor. ASUS reports that this configuration can deliver up to a 20% performance increase in certain titles, such as Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded, compared to the previous Ally X model. Battery life is also noted to be improved by up to 110% over the predecessor.
The premium ROG Xbox Ally X utilises the new AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor. This higher-spec model is stated to offer up to a 30% performance increase in demanding games like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Doom: The Dark Ages. The Ally X also provides an improvement in battery endurance, claiming up to double the playtime in less demanding titles such as Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Both AMD chips support the latest Radeon software suite, including AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and AMD Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) frame generation. These features can result in up to 60% higher frame rates. The Ally X model also incorporates a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for upcoming AI-powered features.
Exclusive Pre-Order Bundles
To incentivise early adoption, ROG Malaysia is offering an exclusive bundle package for all pre-orders placed between 3 and 15 October. The bundle, valued at RM999, includes:

- ROG Xbox Ally series screen protector
- 512GB microSD card
- A 2-year Perfect Warranty (accidental damage protection) package
Additionally, pre-order customers are eligible for a 20% purchase-with-purchase (PWP) promotion on official accessories, including the ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 and the ROG 65W Gaming Charger Dock.
