Samsung Unleashes AI-Powered Galaxy A Series: Samsung Galaxy A56, A36, and A26 5G
Samsung has officially launched its highly anticipated Galaxy A series for 2025, unveiling the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. This year’s lineup marks a significant leap forward, introducing “Awesome Intelligence”—a suite of AI-driven features designed to enhance creativity, durability, and security for users worldwide.
AI Takes Center Stage with “Awesome Intelligence”
The core of the new A series is “Awesome Intelligence,” powered by One UI 7, bringing advanced search and visual experiences. Key features include an enhanced Circle to Search (powered by Google), allowing users to quickly identify and interact with on-screen content like phone numbers, emails, and URLs with a single tap. Music enthusiasts will appreciate the ability to instantly identify songs playing nearby, without switching apps.
The camera experience receives a significant upgrade with a 50MP main lens across all models and 10-bit HDR front lens recording on the A56 and A36 for stunning selfies. The Galaxy A56 5G further boasts a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Exclusive to the A56 is the Best Face feature, which selects and combines the best expressions from motion photos to ensure everyone looks their best in group shots. Additionally, Nightography enhancements, including Low Noise Mode, promise superior low-light performance.
Creative tools like Object Eraser and Filters allow users to refine photos effortlessly, removing distractions and creating custom filters based on existing images.
Built to Last: Enhanced Durability and Longevity
Samsung emphasizes longevity with up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates. The A56 and A36 feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1200 nits brightness, complemented by new stereo speakers for an immersive viewing experience.
All models pack a 5,000mAh battery, with the A56 and A36 supporting 45W Super Fast Charge 2.0. Performance is boosted by the Exynos 1580 chipset in the A56 and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform in the A36.
Durability is a key focus, with all three models featuring an IP67 dust and water resistance rating and an advanced Corning Glass cover for added protection against scratches and cracks.
Security and Privacy at the Forefront
The integration of One UI 7 brings robust security and privacy features, including Samsung Knox Vault, which provides an extra layer of protection for sensitive data. Features like Theft Detection and enhanced security settings ensure a secure user experience. Digital Key functionality will also be available in select markets for the A56 and A36.
Availability and Colours
The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G is available in Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink. The Galaxy A36 5G comes in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Black, Awesome White, and Awesome Lime, while the Galaxy A26 5G is offered in Black, Mint, and Peach Pink.
