Samsung has recently introduced the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy Tab Active5, specifically designed to tackle the challenges of field and frontline work. These devices prioritise versatility, optimisation, and security.

Both devices boast 5G connectivity, upgraded mobile processor performance, and increased memory for enhanced mobility. The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 stands out with its powerful rear camera and expanded display, while the Tab Active5 offers replaceable batteries and No Battery Mode, catering to diverse work settings.

Built to endure harsh working conditions, the XCover7 and Tab Active5 hold an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Complying with the MIL-STD-810H military standard, the XCover7 is shock-resistant to drops of up to 1.5m, while the Tab Active5 can withstand a 1.8m drop with its protective case.

Featuring Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and Gorilla Glass 5, the XCover7 and Tab Active5 ensure durability and scratch resistance. These devices also offer touch sensitivity adjustments, accommodating users wearing gloves and have undergone extensive testing for sanitizer use.

The ruggedized XCover7 and Tab Active5 ensure work continuity, offering fast-charging capabilities to mitigate downtime. With replaceable batteries and No Battery Mode on the Tab Active5, users can work non-stop in different settings, preserving battery health in hot environments.

Availability

Samsung says that the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy Tab Active5 will be available starting January 2024. However, we’re not sure if the Malaysian release date is the same or not as Samsung has yet to reveal a local release date.
