Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G in Malaysia. This new addition to the popular Galaxy A series offers immersive visuals, a sleek design, reliable performance, and long-lasting battery life, all at an attractive price point of RM899.
Samsung Galaxy A16 5G Launched
The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, which is ideal for watching videos, gaming, and browsing content. The phone also features a refined design with rounded corners and a slim profile measuring just 7.9mm.
The device is IP54-rated for dust and water resistance and comes with Samsung Knox Vault to safeguard sensitive information. Additionally, users can benefit from six generations of One UI and Android OS updates, ensuring the phone stays up-to-date with the latest features and security patches.
The device also comes with a triple-lens rear camera system. The main 50MP sensor captures stunning photos in various lighting conditions, while the 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lenses provide additional flexibility for capturing different types of scenes. For selfies, a 13MP front camera delivers sharp and vibrant results.
The device is equipped with an advanced octa-core processor though Samsung didn’t mention which processor exactly. Moreover, the device comes packing a 5,00mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Availability
The Galaxy A16 5G is available in three colours; Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black; for RM899 at selected stores and on the Samsung Malaysia website.
