Samsung Galaxy A9 Launch

Samsung proudly announced their latest Galaxy A phones during their Galaxy Event which was held for the first time here in Malaysia.

The main teaser for the event was based on the slogan “4 X Fun”, which touted the possibility of having 4 cameras on a single phone, where some would have guessed, just 3 at the back and two in the front but to everyone’s surprise it was 4 camera lenses arranged in a vertical position, looking sleek at the back.

Why 4 cameras you ask? Well, this four cameras consists of the Main camera (24 Megapixel F1.7), a Telephoto Lens (10 Megapixel F2.4) with 2 X Optical Zoom, an Ultrawide Zoom Lens (8 Megapixel F2.4) with an amazing 120 degree field of view and a 5 Megapixel F2.2 lens, which acts as a depth sensor.

To complement these hardware lenses, there are software features such as the Scene Optimiser that recognises the current photo-taking scenes, the flaw detection feature; that lets you know if there is a flaw when taking a picture, for example, if the picture is blurry or if someone blinks, the camera software will notify you to retake a picture and that’s the same feature which is available for the higher flagship phone like the Note 9.

During the hands-on test, one can easily choose the different lens mode within the app itself and the blurred background adjustment can now be done, before, during and after taking the photo as well, which gives you better freedom of controlling the shallow depth of field whenever you want to. Another huge difference in camera quality is its front-facing camera, where it is a huge 24 Megapixel F2.0 camera, which looks way sharper than any Samsung Galaxy phone that I have personally tried and tested.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with a 6.3″ Full HD Super AMOLED Display, comes with 6 GB RAM with 128GB storage which is expandable up to 512GB, also very much similar to what has been offered in the Note 9

It has a 3,800 mAh of battery, which has the adaptive fast charging capabilities and it comes with three newly introduced unique colors; Caviar Black, Bubble Gum Pink, and Lemonade Blue, to follow the new age color changing trend which most phones out right now.

The A9 will be available in Malaysia soon in the month of November and look out for a full video review as usual on Adam Lobo TV
