In addition to the iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia updates, Apple unveiled watchOS 11, a significant update for its popular wearable. This new version brings a host of health and fitness enhancements, along with improved personalisation and connectivity features.

Customisable Activity Rings and pregnancy support features further enhance the watch’s health-tracking capabilities.

For personalisation and connectivity, watchOS 11 offers a Smart Stack that suggests widgets based on your routines and habits. The Check In feature allows users to share their workout status with friends and family, while the Translate App enables direct translation of text and speech on the wrist. The double tap gesture provides a more convenient way to scroll through apps, and new watch faces offer a variety of customisation options.

Other notable features in the update include the Tides App for accessing tidal information, expanded workout types, custom workouts, Apple Maps hiking routes, summarised notifications, and enhanced Apple Wallet features.
