The AI-powered chat wallpapers feature leverages Meta AI to enable users to create unique visual backgrounds for their individual or all chats. How to Access and Create AI Wallpapers
To access this new capability, users who have updated to version 25.19.75 can navigate to the wallpaper customisation section within their chat theme settings. A new “Create with AI” option will appear, opening a prompt field where users can type in descriptions for their desired wallpaper. Meta AI will then interpret the prompt and generate several variations.
Users can easily preview these generated wallpapers in a scrollable interface. If the initial results aren’t quite right, they have the flexibility to rephrase their prompt or request Meta AI to generate a new batch, allowing for an iterative design process.
