WiZ, a leading smart lighting brand from Signify, is set to revolutionise home entertainment with the global launch of its new TV entertainment range at ARCHIDEX 2025. Unveiled at the 24th International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition (ARCHIDEX), running from 23 to 26 July at the KLCC Convention Centre, the lineup promises to transform movie nights, sports viewing, and gaming into immersive, sensory-rich experiences.
The star of the show is the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight, an innovative device that has already garnered significant industry recognition with a nomination for the prestigious ARCHIDEX Star Award 2025. This award celebrates excellence in product design, technological superiority, and efficient functionality, highlighting WiZ’s commitment to cutting-edge innovation.
Bringing Your Screen to Life with Dynamic Lighting
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight offers an effortless and affordable way to synchronise lighting with on-screen content. By connecting the Sync Box to any HDMI media device (such as streaming sticks, set-top boxes, and gaming consoles) and attaching the included LED strip to the back of the TV, users can enjoy real-time light synchronisation with the colours and brightness of their TV screen. It supports HDMI 2.0 and video formats up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR10+/Dolby Vision, ensuring ultra-accurate colour generation from the video signal. The Sync Box is available in two sizes to fit TVs from 55” to 65” and 75” to 85”.
Beyond visual synchronisation, the WiZ HDMI Sync Box also incorporates a built-in microphone that can capture audio from any source, allowing lights to change colours and brightness in sync with music. Control is intuitive via the WiZ app, voice commands (Google or Alexa), or the WiZ remote control. An auto-switching feature ensures the lights turn on and sync automatically when an HDMI media source is detected.
Elevating the Experience with Gradient Lighting
Complementing the Sync Box are two new gradient lighting products: the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and the WiZ Gradient Floor Light. These products can be linked to the WiZ HDMI Sync Box to create stunning wall-washing effects that perfectly match on-screen colours in real time. The Gradient Light Bar offers versatile installation options, while the Gradient Floor Light boasts a slim, minimalistic design, fitting seamlessly into any corner. Both feature multi-colour segment designs, capable of displaying multiple colours simultaneously, and come with 16 million colours and ready-to-use preset modes.
Both the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and the WiZ Gradient Floor Light are Matter compatible, enabling control through Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit.
