Acer Expands India Lineup with Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro Smartphones

Acer has further cemented its presence in the Indian smartphone market with the recent launch of the Acer Super ZX and Super ZX Pro. This follows the debut of AcerPure-branded devices last month, signaling the company’s continued push into the budget and mid-range segments.

Interestingly, much like the licensing agreement between HMD Global and Nokia (prior to recent developments), these new Acer smartphones are manufactured under license by Indikal Technologies. This allows Acer to expand its reach without direct involvement in the manufacturing process.

Acer Super ZX: Key Specifications

The Super ZX offers a solid set of specifications for its price point. To start with, it features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. When it comes to memory, consumers can choose between 4GB or 8GB of RAM, along with storage options ranging from 64GB to 256GB. Additionally, a substantial 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging keeps the device powered throughout the day. Moving on to the camera department, the Super ZX features a triple rear camera setup. It includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Finally, for selfies and video calls, there’s a 13MP front-facing camera.

Acer Super ZX Pro: Enhanced Features

To begin with, the Super ZX Pro steps up its specifications in a big way. It features a 6.67-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. As a result, you get a more immersive visual experience. Moving on to performance, it is powered by the capable MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. Additionally, it offers flexible RAM options, 6GB, 8GB, or a generous 12GB. When it comes to storage, you can choose between 128GB, 256GB, or go all the way up to a spacious 512GB. The battery capacity remains the same at 5,000mAh with 33W charging. The camera system on the Super ZX Pro includes a 64MP main sensor, a 5MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, along with a 13MP front camera.

Pricing and Availability

According to reports from GSMArena, the Super ZX is priced at INR 9,999 (approximately RM515), while theSuper ZX Pro starts at INR 17,999 (around RM927). Both smartphones are slated to be available for purchase in the Indian market starting 25th April.
