Acer announced a significant expansion of its thin-and-light laptop lineup with the introduction of new models in the Swift X and Swift Go series, all designed to empower creative professionals and everyday users with robust performance and integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. In particular, the new Swift X 14 AI and Swift X 14 join the updated Swift Edge 14 AI and Swift Go AI Series, further showcasing Acer’s commitment to innovation and user-centric design.
Acer Swift X Series: Powering Creative Workflows with AI and RTX
The spotlight shines on the Acer Swift X 14 AI, a new Copilot+ PC powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors. Acer designed this powerhouse to handle demanding AI workloads, enabling it to seamlessly render, model, and visualize in real-time directly on the device. Users can look forward to exclusive AI experiences such as Recall (preview), Click to Do (preview), enhanced Windows search, Cocreator, Live Captions, Image Creator, and Windows Studio Effects.
For creators seeking reliable performance, the new Acer Swift X 14 offers responsive workflows and all-day battery life, driven by Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2).
Both Swift X models are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. As a result, this powerful combination ensures AI-accelerated workflows for live streaming, video editing, and 3D rendering, thereby delivering next-level graphics fidelity. Both laptops are also NVIDIA Studio-validated and support NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology, as well as access to NVIDIA NIM Microservices for building custom AI assistants.

Visuals on both the Swift X 14 AI and Swift X 14 will be stunning on their Calman-verified 14.5-inch 3K OLED touch displays. These displays are factory-calibrated for accurate colours and offer full DCI-P3 colour range support, along with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification. The displays also feature edge-to-edge glass, Acer Light Sensing technology for adaptive brightness and colour temperature, and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass, with touch-screen options available.
Designed with creators in mind, the new Swift X models feature extra-large haptic touchpads, support for MPP 2.5 tilt-enabled styluses, and a sleek design that can lay flat for enhanced collaboration. Advanced thermal technologies, including TwinAir stereo ring fans, dual copper heat pipes, and dedicated air inlet keyboards, ensure efficient cooling for sustained performance.

The Acer Swift Edge 14 AI stands out with its ultra-lightweight design, weighing just 0.99 kg, and a stunning 14-inch 3K OLED display with edge-to-edge glass. It is the world’s first laptop to feature Corning Gorilla Matte Pro surface treatment, significantly reducing screen reflection. Powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 288V and featuring a built-in Intel Arc GPU, the Swift Edge 14 AI offers exceptional performance and up to 21 hours of battery life. Its premium magnesium-aluminium alloy chassis and MIL-STD 810H compliance ensure durability.
The Acer Swift Go 16 AI and Swift Go 14 AI, powered by up to Intel Core Ultra 7 processors 258V with Intel Arc graphics, not only deliver exceptional value for productivity and entertainment but also offer impressive performance for everyday tasks. Moreover, these Copilot+ PCs provide multi-day battery life and feature the enhanced Acer Multi-Control Touchpad for intuitive media control. In addition, the Acer MyKey feature allows for quick application launching, further enhancing user convenience. Both models sport vibrant OLED displays with Eyesafe 2.0 certification and come in a slim and lightweight form factor.
Both the updated Swift Go AI series and the Swift Edge 14 AI feature 1080p FHD IR webcams with Windows Hello, Acer User Sensing technology, Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0, and the latest connectivity options including Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Commitment to Sustainability
Acer emphasised its ongoing commitment to sustainability with its Earthion initiative. Acer has designed the new Swift laptops using post-consumer recycled plastic, packaged them in 100% recycled materials, and ensured they meet EPEAT Gold registration standards.
