vivo Launches vivo X300 and X300 Pro in Malaysia with Dimensity 9500 and 200MP Telephoto

vivo X300 Series

After making its debut in China last month, vivo Malaysia has released the vivo X300 and X300 Pro, the company’s latest flagship devices here. The launch highlights a shift towards high-resolution telephoto imaging and the debut of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset in the local market.

Camera Specifications

The primary hardware differentiation for the vivo X300 Pro lies in its telephoto module. The device integrates a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, utilising a Samsung HPB sensor. This sensor setup is paired with the new Pro Imaging Chip VS1 to handle image processing throughput and noise reduction.

The X300 Pro’s camera system is composed of its 200 MP ZEISS APO telephoto lens and a 50 MP ZEISS Gimbal-Grade camera, which features a large 1/1.28-inch sensor and CIPA 5.5-rated stabilisation. Its video capabilities support 4K 120fps recording across both main and telephoto lenses, including Dolby Vision and 10-bit Log Video profiles.

The standard vivo X300 model features a 200 MP ZEISS camera (Samsung HPB sensor) with CIPA 4.5-rated stabilisation. Both models in the series utilise a 50 MP ZEISS Wide-Angle front camera with autofocus. Software features include “Stage Mode 2.0” for high-volume audio/video recording and “AI Image Studio” for automated composition and subject removal.

The series utilises vivo’s “BlueVolt” battery technology, which incorporates a silicon anode and semi-solid electrolyte. The X300 Pro is equipped with a 6,510 mAh capacity battery, while the X300 has a 6040 mAh capacity. Both models support 90W FlashCharge, and the Pro model adds 40W wireless charging.

The devices use an 8T LTPO panel capable of 2000 nits global peak brightness. Dimming technology includes 2160 Hz Full-Range Luminance PWM Dimming and DC Dimming to manage flicker and eye strain.

Software: OriginOS 6
