Apple: Out with the Old, In with the New
Apple has officially discontinued the iPhone 13, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max following the recent launch of its latest iPhone 16 series. This move is in line with the company’s annual practice of retiring older models to make room for new releases.
While these discontinued models will still be available for purchase through third-party retailers, the company will no longer offer them directly. However, users can rest assured that they will continue to receive iOS and security updates for several years.
The iPhone 16 series introduces several new features, including improved cameras, enhanced chips, a new Camera Control feature, and a variety of colour options. The iPhone 16 series goes on sale September 13, with shipments starting September 20.
Apple has also announced the Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and updates to the Watch Ultra 2, AirPods Max, and AirPods Pro 2.
