Samsung Confirms Exynos 2500 SoC for Upcoming Flagships
Samsung has officially confirmed the existence of its next-generation chipset, the Exynos 2500. The announcement came during the company’s Q2 financial results report, where it highlighted the chip’s crucial role in its upcoming product lineup.
Set to be built on a cutting-edge 3nm process, the Exynos 2500 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor. The Exynos W1000 was unveiled earlier this month. This new chipset is expected to power certain models of the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series. Based on past trends, it’s likely that the standard Galaxy S25 and S25+ will feature the new Exynos chip. The top-tier Ultra variant will continue to be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon processor.
Samsung’s System LSI division, responsible for developing both camera sensors and smartphone processors, is committed to ensuring a stable supply of the 2500 for its flagship devices. The company is optimistic about the chipset’s performance, citing the positive reception of the Exynos W1000.
With the Exynos 2500, Samsung aims to strengthen its position in the mobile chipset market and deliver high-performance, energy-efficient devices to consumers.
