Harman Kardon Launches New Aura Studio 5 and SoundSticks 5 Speakers
Harman Kardon today unveiled two new speaker systems, the Aura Studio 5 and the SoundSticks 5, updating two of its distinct product lines with new audio technology and integrated ambient lighting.
The Aura Studio 5, the latest in the transparent dome speaker series, introduces a new three-way speaker design. This includes six full-range drivers, a dedicated subwoofer, and a new tweeter for vocal clarity. The speaker uses Harman’s Constant Sound Field technology to create a wider soundstage.
A significant update is the multi-layered lighting system, which projects dynamic, nature-inspired themes such as ‘Ocean’ and ‘Sunrise’ or static colours. These effects can be controlled via the Harman Kardon ONE app.
The Aura Studio 5 is available for pre-order from 7 to 10 November at a price of RM1,599, with an official launch on 11 November.
The company also released the SoundSticks 5, an evolution of its iconic design, which is part of the permanent collection at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. The new model features an enhanced 3-way acoustic design with newly integrated tweeters on the satellite speakers and a down-firing subwoofer.
Like the Aura 5, the SoundSticks 5 incorporates an ambient lighting system with five dynamic presets and static colour options. It also adds significant new connectivity, including Bluetooth 5.4 and an HDMI ARC port, allowing it to connect directly to a TV and support Dolby Audio.
The SoundSticks 5 is available now for RM1,899.
Both speaker systems support multi-speaker connection via Auracast and can be managed through the Harman Kardon ONE App for audio and light customisation. The products are available at Harman Kardon’s official online stores on Lazada, Shopee, and Swap Asia.
