According to the reputable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Xiaomi 17 Max is shaping up to be a photography powerhouse. While earlier reports hinted at a setup similar to the standard model, the new leak claims the device will boast a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPE main sensor (1/1.4-inch). This is paired with a 50MP Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto sensor (1/1.953-inch) and a 50MP ultrawide lens, continuing Xiaomi’s imaging partnership with Leica.
This configuration marks a notable upgrade over the standard Xiaomi 17, which features a trio of 50MP sensors.
