Lenovo made an exciting announcement today at CES 2025. After much speculation, the company introduced several new products in its Legion gaming ecosystem. These include the Lenovo Legion Go S, a prototype of the Lenovo Legion Go, and, surprisingly, a SteamOS-powered version of the Legion Go S.
Lenovo Legion Go S and Legion Go Announced
Key announcements include:
- Lenovo Legion Go S (8″, 1): This Windows-based handheld comes with an 8-inch display. Additionally, it is powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 Go or Z1 Extreme processors. Moreover, you can get up to 32GB of RAM for seamless multitasking. Furthermore, the 55.5Whr battery ensures long-lasting performance. With these impressive features, it is perfectly suited for gaming on the go.
- Lenovo Legion Go S (8″, 1) – Powered by SteamOS: This device is the world’s first officially licensed handheld powered by SteamOS. It offers seamless integration with the Steam ecosystem. Key features include cloud saves, Remote Play, and full access to the Steam Store and Library.
- Lenovo Legion Go (8.8″, 2) Prototype: This prototype clearly showcases the future of handheld gaming. To start, it features a native landscape OLED display, offering an immersive visual experience. Furthermore, it is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, paired with advanced RDNA 3.5 graphics for superior performance. In addition, users can choose configurations with up to 32GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking. Lastly, ergonomic refinements have been introduced to enhance comfort during extended gameplay sessions.
