Lenovo Confirms Legion Go Gen Two and Lite Models
Lenovo has officially confirmed the existence of two new handheld gaming devices, the Legion Go Gen Two and Legion Go Lite. This news follows leaked images of the Lite model that surfaced a few days ago.
The confirmation was found within the product specifications sheet for the Legion Go USB-C dock. The sheet has since been altered, but Videocardz captured a screenshot beforehand. In the screenshot, the supported systems section was visible. It clearly listed the Legion Go Gen One, Gen Two, and the Lite.
While Lenovo had previously denied plans for a Legion Go Lite, the recent confirmation suggests a change in direction. The Gen Two model is expected to feature a more powerful Strix Point APU. This upgrade will offer improved performance compared to its predecessor. Additionally, there’s speculation that it could come equipped with the upcoming AMD Ryzen Z2 SoC. This new chip is rumored to launch in early 2025.
Lenovo is preparing to expand its handheld gaming lineup with the upcoming Legion Go Gen Two and Lite models. In addition, these new additions will offer options for gamers with different preferences and budgets. As a result, gamers can look forward to new and exciting handheld gaming experiences from the popular PC brand.
