In a move to expand its AI assistant offerings, Microsoft has announced the global launch of Copilot Pro. This subscription tier for Copilot, Microsoft’s AI coding companion, is now available around the world, including Malaysia.

Malaysian users can sign up for Copilot Pro at RM98 per month. This unlocks a range of premium features, allowing them to leverage the power of Copilot across devices, web browsers, and the mobile app (available on both iOS and Android).

For those unsure about committing to a subscription right away, Microsoft offers a one-month free trial. To claim this trial, simply download the Copilot app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

So, what benefits does Copilot Pro offer? Subscribers gain priority access to advanced GPT models, which are essentially the powerful language processing algorithms that drive Copilot’s functionality. They’ll also enjoy improved image generation and editing capabilities, along with access to the Microsoft Copilot GPT Builder tool.

An additional perk for existing Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscribers is the integration of AI features directly within their Microsoft 365 applications. It’s worth noting that using the service within the desktop versions of these apps still requires a separate Microsoft 365 subscription.

The good news for mobile users is that Microsoft plans to integrate Copilot Pro into its free mobile apps in the coming months. This includes the Microsoft 365 app and Outlook for both iOS and Android devices. With this upcoming integration, users will have access to Copilot’s assistive power on the go.
