Dyson has officially opened it’s new Dyson Demo Store, a space designed to encourage visitors to test and experience Dyson’s latest technology, at Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru.
Will Kerr, design manager of new product development said it was critical for customers to test and experience Dyson’s technology so that they would be able to understand how it works. The new space is designed with that in mind and the opening of the new store represents a testament to Dyson’s ambitions to expand their footprint further in Malaysia and bring its technology closer to the people of Johor Bahru.
Among the key products, Dyson will showcase at the store include the Dyson V11 cord-free vacuums that will allow visitors to experience using the vacuums to clean dust and debris on three different floor surfaces. They will be able to see first hand, how Dyson’s digital motor V11 provides powerful suction power to clean all surfaces.
Aside from that Dyson experts will be on hand to explain to customers how Dyson’s Pure Cool Purifying Fans use Dyson’s Core Flow technology to clean your personal space of invisible airborne pollutants.
Dyson’s Supersonic hairdryer will also be at the new Demo Store and visitors will be able to learn and experience how the revolutionary product utilises fast but focused airflow to blasts air at high temperatures without the risk of extreme heat damage or hair being sucked in.
Another product that is focused on hair care, the Dyson Airwrap Styler is unlike conventional styling tools as it uses jets of air to achieve voluminous natural waves and smooth blow-dry finishes that you can perform in the comforts of your own home.
The demo station in the new store will allow customers to test and experience the two hair products with the assistance of Dyson Beauty Advisors who will provide advice on the different styling options.
Last but not least is Dyson Lighting, that uses a single high-powered LED to project powerful light precisely where it is needed. In fact, all products in the Demo Store are illuminated by Dyson Lighting’s Cu-Beam suspended lights.
This illustrates the ability of Dyson’s Lightcycle product that is claimed to maintain excellent light quality and reduce eyestrain with over 1,000 Lux brightness.
