NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Reportedly Hitting Stores on 21st January

Looks Like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 is Coming this 21st January

With NVIDIA’s official GeForce RTX 50 Series announcement looming, leaks and rumours are intensifying. The latest leak, originating from Hong Kong outlet HKEPC, suggests a 21st January 2025, launch date for the highly anticipated GeForce RTX 5080.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060

This aligns with previous reports indicating a staggered release for the new Blackwell GPU architecture. The GeForce RTX 5080 is expected to spearhead the launch; subsequently, the flagship GeForce RTX 5090 is anticipated to debut later in January. Meanwhile, the mid-range GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti are scheduled to follow in February.

The GeForce RTX 5080 will leverage NVIDIA’s latest architecture and a more advanced manufacturing process. A key highlight is the adoption of cutting-edge GDDR7 memory, promising a substantial boost in memory bandwidth. However, the memory capacity is expected to remain at 16GB.

While the GeForce RTX 5080 may only feature a 10% increase in CUDA Cores compared to its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 4080, it’s anticipated to surpass the current flagship, the GeForce RTX 4090, in performance. This is attributed to the combination of improved memory speeds and architectural enhancements.

Expect a wide range of models from NVIDIA partners, including MSI, ASUS, GIGABYTE, PNY, INNO3D, and more.

This leak adds further excitement to the upcoming GeForce RTX 50 Series launch. Stay tuned for more official details and the highly anticipated performance benchmarks.
