Unlike its predecessor, the Fold boasts a redesigned back panel, ditching the camera bar in favour of a more conventional camera module featuring dual oval lenses. The phone’s overall shape also takes inspiration from the Pixel 8 and 8a, offering a more rounded aesthetic.
We can expect to see the Fold unveiled alongside its non-foldable siblings, as well as the Pixel Watch 3, at the Made by Google event on the 13th of August. Additionally, Google will be rolling out the stable version of Android 15 at the event.
While details about the Fold are still scarce, the anticipation is palpable. Will this be the foldable phone that finally captures the hearts of consumers? Only time will tell.
