This is Shu Faye and she is a streamer and a content creator, besides that, she’s also using the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra as her daily smartphone and claims to use the S Pen a lot!
In order to decide who’s a better S Pen user, she will be doing an S Pen challenge with…
…me!
So there are going to be a total of 5 challenges and if I win, I give Shu Faye RM1,000 and she will be the new host for Adam Lobo TV! BUT if she loses, she’s going to give me a custom-made keyboard!
So what do our fellow challenger here have to say before we begin our challenge?
Shu Faye: “Well, I just have to say I’ve had this phone since it launched, so I believe that I have mastered all that I need to know about this phone, so if I win I’m gonna take over Adam Lobo as the new host!”
So since this is called the S Pen challenge, the only rule for all of these challenges is that both Shu Faye and I must ONLY utilize the S Pen for every move, and if anyone gets caught using their fingers, it will amount to ZERO points!
Challenge #1 – Design Profile Photo for each other (using AR Doodle)
Use the Samsung Camera & use the “AR Doodle” feature to capture a profile of each other and write each other’s name.

However, during the challenge, my buddy Lehud caught me using my finger trying to unlock the phone, so that means…
…I lost one point
So, Round 1 goes to Shu Faye!
Challenge #2 – Accuracy Test (using Air Action)
The person that zooms in faster (on Photo Mode) to more than 10x zoom and hits the bell wins.
Here’s Shu Faye working hard to zoom in using Air Action like a witch from Hogwarts, wielding her magical wand…
… and the result of her wand-wielding, S Pen Air Action challenge? 1.07 seconds!
Next up, Adam Lobo in action! …Or should I say, in AIR Action!
And the result? Like a true wizard, wielding his magical wand (aka S Pen), Adam Lobo wins this round with just 27 seconds!

BUT WAIT, there’s MORE! There is still a Round 2 for this challenge! This time in reverse, zooming out!
And again, Shu Faye trying her best to zoom out as fast as possible…
…and the result? A HUGE improvement of ONLY 16 seconds!
Next up, Adam’s turn…
…and unfortunately, Adam took 6 seconds longer and so Shu Faye gains 1 point!

Challenge #3 – Speed Writing (Handwriting to Text)
Type 3 URLs below on Samsung Browser Search Bar, and the fastest to load the website and hits the bell, wins!
This time around, both of them do the challenge at the same time.
So, here they are, doing their best to handwrite the first URL, which is www.adamlobo.tv (Adam won this round)
And then the second URL, www.wintersexpress.com (Shu Faye won this round)
And finally, the third URL, www.youtube.com (Again, Adam won this round)
So the results for this Challenge #3 Speed Writing is: Shu Faye 1 pt : Adam 2 pts !

Challenge #4 – Word Search (Smart Select)
A search puzzle is given and the challenge for this puzzle is to find the word “Samsung” by using the “Smart Select” feature, save it into the Gallery and hit the bell to win.
With points tied at 3 points, both of them got serious…
And the result? Adam spotted the “Samsung” word (in REVERSE) first, so Adam won this round!
Challenge #5 – Remove an Object (using Object Eraser)
Remove one of the leopard geckos in the cleanest way by drawing the outline around the subject. The fastest one to do it and hit the bell wins!
So who do you think will get the outline faster?
Well, not Adam as he ended up scribbling on the phone… and it’s not even on the photo.
On the other side, Shu Faye managed to bring out one of the gecko’s outline by simply TAPPING on one of them, and the phone will automatically outline the selected object!
With all 5 challenges done, Shu Faye emerges as the victor!

Both of us had fun doing this S Pen challenge, but one of the reasons why we wanted to do this is to also educate you all on how useful the S Pen is – other than typically just using it as a pen, you can use it for all of the different actions that we have also mentioned.
