Samsung Unveils World’s First 130-Inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2026
Samsung has unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV at CES 2026, introducing its largest Micro RGB display to date and setting a new benchmark for ultra-premium televisions.
The new R95H model marks a shift in both scale and design direction, combining next-generation colour technology with a bold, gallery-inspired form factor aimed at turning the TV into a central visual feature of the room.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, said the 130-inch model represents the peak of Samsung’s picture quality innovation, while reviving the company’s original design philosophy with technology built for a new generation of displays.
Designed as a Visual Centrepiece
Samsung says the 130-inch Micro RGB TV is designed to feel less like a conventional television and more like an immersive visual window. The display features a monumental frame with integrated audio, tuned specifically to match the scale of the screen so that sound and visuals feel naturally connected.
The design is built around the Timeless Frame, a modern evolution of Samsung’s 2013 Timeless Gallery concept. Inspired by architectural window frames, the screen appears to float within its borders, positioning the TV as an artistic centrepiece rather than a device meant to fade into the background.
Advanced Micro RGB Picture Performance
The 130-inch model is powered by Samsung’s latest Micro RGB technologies, including the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro. These systems use AI to enhance contrast, improve muted tones and preserve detail across both bright and dark scenes.
The display delivers 100% of the BT.2020 wide colour gamut through Micro RGB Precision Colour 100 and is certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for accurate colour reproduction. Samsung’s Glare Free technology is also included to minimise reflections and maintain consistent colour and contrast under different lighting conditions.
HDR, Audio and AI Features
Samsung’s 2026 TVs are the first in the industry to support HDR10+ ADVANCED, the next-generation HDR10+ standard. The 130-inch Micro RGB TV also supports Eclipsa Audio and Samsung’s Vision AI Companion.
Vision AI Companion enables conversational search, proactive recommendations and access to AI-powered features and apps such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, depending on region and model availability.
CES 2026 Showcase
Samsung confirmed that the 130-inch Micro RGB TV will be showcased at its Exhibition Zone during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced, but the launch reinforces Samsung’s continued focus on pushing the limits of display technology at the very top end of the television market.
