Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: A Budget-Friendly Flagship with 7 Years of Software Support
Samsung has unveiled its latest addition to the Galaxy S24 series, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. This mid-range smartphone aims to offer flagship-level features at a more affordable price point.
One of the standout features of the S24 FE is its larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, which is a notable improvement over the previous model. Additionally, it boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, making it a smoother experience compared to the 6.4-inch screen on its predecessor. Furthermore, the device is powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset, although it offers slightly reduced performance compared to the Exynos 2400 found in the Galaxy S24+. On top of that, with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, the S24 FE ensures smooth multitasking and provides ample space for your files.
The 4,700mAh battery, paired with 25W charging, ensures your phone stays powered up throughout the day. On the back, the smartphone boasts a triple-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, for selfies, there’s a 10MP front-facing camera to capture high-quality shots.
Samsung has introduced a major upgrade by offering 7 years of Android updates and security patches for the Galaxy S24 FE. This marks a first for the FE series. The phone also comes with the One UI 6.1.1 operating system, which includes advanced AI features. These include Sketch to Image, image editing tools, Composer, Note Assist, and Live Translate. These capabilities are comparable to those found on the premium Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 models.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is available for pre-order in Malaysia now with a retail price of RM3,299 for the 256GB model and RM3,899 for the 512GB model. Available colours include Blue, Graphite, Gray, and Mint.
