Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Launch Date Leaked

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE Rumoured for 19 September Launch, Specs Leaked

New reports out of Korea suggest that the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will be unveiled on 19 September, a week earlier than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE. While Samsung has already confirmed an earlier launch for the new Fan Edition device, the precise date has remained a subject of speculation.

The S24 FE was first announced on 27 September, with availability beginning on 4 October. If the 19 September date is accurate for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, it marks a slightly earlier debut for the device. The report does not clarify whether this date refers to the official announcement or the start of retail availability.

In terms of pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be priced under KRW 1 million in the Korean market, which translates to approximately RM3,066. This price point is expected to be either identical to the previous model or see only a slight increase. However, the final price in international markets is not yet known and will not be a direct conversion.

Rumoured specifications for the S25 FE suggest several key upgrades and trade-offs. The phone is reportedly powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2400 SoC, a minor performance improvement over the Exynos 2400e found in the S24 FE. It is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 1080×2340 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.

For photography, the device is rumoured to have a triple-camera system on the back, including a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The selfie camera is expected to be a 12 MP sensor, marking a significant upgrade from the previous model.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is also expected to feature a 4,500 mAh battery, a reduction of 200 mAh from its predecessor, but with faster charging capabilities, including 45W wired and 15W wireless support. The phone’s dimensions are rumoured to be 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm, with a weight of 190g. It will reportedly come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16.
