Samsung Galaxy S25+ Spotted on Geekbench with Exynos 2500, Snapdragon 8 Elite Rumours Uncertain

Samsung Galaxy S25+ on Geekbench: A potential twist in the Galaxy S25 lineup?

Recent developments have cast doubt on a widely circulated rumour. The rumour suggested that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series would exclusively feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, these new developments have called that claim into question. A recent Geekbench listing has revealed a Samsung Galaxy S25+ model (SM-S936B) equipped with the Exynos 2500 SoC.

This isn’t the first time the Galaxy S25+ has appeared on Geekbench with an Exynos chip. An earlier listing in November also showcased the same device with the Exynos 2500. While this could indicate a potential Exynos variant for certain markets, it’s also possible that someone simply re-ran benchmarks on the same device.

It is still uncertain whether Samsung will use only Snapdragon chips for the Galaxy S25 series or return to its usual strategy of offering both Snapdragon and Exynos variants. However, until more concrete evidence emerges, the situation remains unclear. As the official launch approaches, more details are expected to surface, which will shed light on the final chipsets powering these highly anticipated flagship devices.
