Samsung Internet Browser Beta Arrives on Windows PCs
Samsung has officially launched its popular Samsung Internet browser on a new platform: Windows PCs. The company announced the beta release on Thursday, aiming to create a seamless, unified browsing experience for users within its Galaxy ecosystem.
For the first time, users of Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets can now sync their browsing data, including bookmarks, browsing history, and saved pages, directly with their Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers. This cross-device continuity is a central feature of the new PC browser, which requires users to be logged into their Samsung Account.

The PC version also integrates with Samsung Pass, allowing for secure login and autofill capabilities previously limited to mobile. A “Continue apps on other devices” feature will also prompt users to pick up browsing sessions exactly where they left off when switching between their PC and mobile device.
In addition to syncing, Samsung is integrating its Galaxy AI features into the desktop browser. Users in the beta can access Browsing Assist, which provides instant webpage summarisation and translation, bringing powerful AI tools directly to the desktop.
Security remains a key focus, with the PC browser inheriting features from its mobile counterpart, including Smart anti-tracking to block third-party trackers and a Privacy Dashboard for managing security settings.
The Samsung Internet for PC beta is available starting today for Windows 11 and Windows 10 (version 1809 and above) users in the United States and Korea. The company has stated that it plans for a broader expansion to other regions to follow.
