Announced last week, Xiaomi Malaysia has launched the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo, a pair of open-ear headphones designed for comfort, quality, and long battery life.

The OpenWear Stereo features a comfortable open-ear design that allows you to stay aware of your surroundings while still enjoying your music. Xiaomi claims the design provides a secure fit for various ear shapes and minimal interference with eyeglasses. The headphones come equipped with a large 17x12mm dynamic driver for powerful bass performance. They also support the LHDC high-definition codec for up to 96kHz HD Audio and boast Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.
Leak-Proof Design and Clear Calls
Xiaomi implemented a 10mm leak-proof driver to minimise sound leakage during calls, while dual microphones with AI call noise reduction ensure clear voice communication.
Long Battery Life and Durability
Each earbud weighs only 9.6 grams and features a soft, skin-friendly liquid silicone design for long-wearing comfort. The ear hook utilises a flexible nickel-titanium alloy wire for a secure fit, even during exercise. Xiaomi claims the ear hook has been rigorously tested to withstand bending and twisting.
On a single charge, the earbuds offer up to 7.5 hours of music playback, extending to 38.5 hours with the included charging case. The case boasts a large 788mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. A quick 10-minute USB-C charge provides up to 1.5 hours of playback time.

The Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo supports Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable connection and features Google Fast Pair for easy pairing with your devices. Gesture controls allow you to manage music playback and answer calls with simple taps. The earbuds also boast an IP54 dust and water resistance rating for worry-free use during workouts.
