Xiaomi has officially announced the arrival of their latest premium tablet, the Pad 6S Pro, in Malaysia. The announcement came in the form of a short teaser video posted on the brand’s local Facebook page.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro to officially come to Malaysia soon
Based on the Chinese launch, we can expect the Pad 6S Pro to boast a large 12.4-inch 3K LCD display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 900 nits, although full specifications haven’t been revealed yet. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 offers protection for the display. Dimension-wise, the tablet measures 278.70mm tall, 191.58mm wide, and is a sleek 6.26mm thin, although it weighs in at 590g.
Powering the device is the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The Pad 6S Pro runs on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS platform and packs a massive 10,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 120W via USB-C.
For photography, the rear features a dual-camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The side bezel of the display houses the 32MP selfie camera.
Price and availability
Xiaomi has yet to announce the official launch date and pricing for the Pad 6S Pro in Malaysia. In China, the tablet comes in two memory configurations with prices starting from CNY3,299 (around RM2,157). Stay tuned to us at Adam Lobo TV for more updates on the Malaysian launch.
