Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro Launches with In-House XRing O1 Processor
Xiaomi has officially expanded its Pad 7 series with the introduction of the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro in China, marking a significant milestone as the brand’s first tablet to integrate its self-developed XRing O1 chipset. This powerful new silicon previously debuted in the China-exclusive Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone in May 2025.

The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is designed with portability and performance in mind, boasting a svelte 5.8mm thickness and a weight of just 576g. Its visual prowess comes from a stunning 12.5-inch display, offering a sharp 3200×2136 resolution, a fluid 144Hz refresh rate, and a brilliant peak brightness of 1,000 nits, all presented in a productivity-friendly 3:2 aspect ratio. Audio immersion is guaranteed with a 6-speaker setup featuring Dolby Atmos support.
Introducing the XRing O1 Chipset
At the heart of the Pad 7S Pro lies the new XRing O1 chipset, which officially made its debut with the Xiaomi 15S Pro back in May. Manufactured on TSMC’s advanced second-generation N3E 3nm process, this proprietary SoC is a powerhouse, featuring a 16-core GPU, a 6-core NPU, and a 10-core CPU configuration. The CPU comprises two high-performance Cortex-X925 cores clocked at 3.9GHz, four Cortex-A725 cores at 3.4GHz, two additional Cortex-A725 cores at 1.9GHz, and two efficient Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8GHz.
Battery and Charging Capabilities
Powering this robust tablet is a substantial 10,610mAh battery, supporting ultra-fast 120W USB-C charging. The device also offers 7.5W reverse wired charging, allowing it to act as a power bank for other gadgets.
Software and Camera Features
Software-wise, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro runs on the latest HyperOS 2, built on Android 15, and comes pre-loaded with PC-level WPS software, enhancing its productivity credentials. For imaging, users will find a capable 50MP rear camera and a 32MP front-facing camera, suitable for both photography and video calls.
